Snow DAYS!!

So when we got our first dusting of snow we thought that we better take advantage of it since we heard it is pretty much gone a couple hours later. By the way they did cancel school this day!! :)



I wish I would have gotten more pictures of the snow. I have never seen the snow wrap around the trees like this. The snow is so wet here I guess. So it keep snowing and keep snowing!! 9 inches later!!
We live on a big hill and this is what we call road sledding!! I did this in my car later that day not as much fun!!





They got so much snow that we were basically snowed in our house for about two weeks. At least our snow gear got much use!!

Bus is here!!

Ok my kids took the bus for the first time this week. They were soo excited. I guess it's time to let go a little of my mom control. They loved it and had a blast. I made Emma text me as soon as they got on it after school. Being a Mom is hard.

Fall is here!!

I am really loving fall in Seattle. I think we have officially started rain season. So far not so bad.
I took these pictures from my deck off of our master bed room upstairs. The clouds were really beautiful and at some times I thought I could just reach up and grab one.
Here is us messing around in the car. We do funny face freezes. We spend a lot of time in the car so we have to make it somewhat fun or I would not have any hair left on my head. I am not sure how my kids got so big, but they look so old in these pictures.

Can any one say "Pepper spray!!"

Guess what my kids got into today!!! Pepper spray!! Can you believe it. Emma found it and thought it was candy spray like the kids down the street have. (note to candy makers anything that you spray into your mouth is not a good idea!@!!!) So luckily they couldn't get the childsafty lock off. They did manage to get some liquid out somehow. (another note to all moms, not all child locks work all the way) So after drenching my kids in the sink. Jackson got the most of pepper spray. Luckily he just licked it instead of spraying in his mouth. I had to take a picture after the burning subsided. I know we will laugh about it later. One of the many reasons we call this the crazy blog. Never a dull moment in the Chambers house!!!

First Day of School

This is pictures from our first day of school. We were all a little nervous since it was a new school. We held up fingers for what grade we were starting. Jackson even joined in. Then when we got there Jackson realized that he was not going to school with Emma and Kaleb.



He was very upset!!!




Kaleb's teacher is Ms. Ardnt. Kaleb says she laughs a lot.
Emma's teacher is Mrs. Wood and she is a cheerleader for Seattle Seahawkes. Emma LOVES her teacher!!




Kaleb said the best thing about his day was, "I got three recesses!" Emma made a few friends including a girl that was so scared she started to cry in class. I thought that was so sweet for Emma to go out of her way to make a girl feel comfortable on her first day. When she was so scared herself. They had a great day full of recesses and new friends.


Erik and I finally got a date!! I don't think this has happened for months. We just starred at each other wandering who each other were and what we were doing there. I keep looking for our children.. Then we got the hang of it. We had a great time. Long over due!!
